Thanks to everyone’s relentless efforts, the Government of Alberta on April 29th 2023 officially made the announcement publicly recognizing Wushu as an official sport at the Wainwright Hotel in Calgary.
We will work with the Government to secure the grant funding and use it appropriately to fund our mission: “To guide, grow and raise the awareness of Wushu and Kungfu as a sport in Alberta. We foster positive relationships amongst all practitioners and all schools regardless of location and styles.”
