About Wushu Alberta

Wushu Kungfu Alberta is a registered non-profit organization and the official Provincial Sports Organization (PSO) recognized by Wushu Canada.

WushuCanada is the National Sports Organization (NSO) responsible for the selection of the Canadian National Team for participation in international wushu sports competition. As the NSO, they offer a range of resources in various training areas and can offer learning opportunities for coaches, officials and athletes.

The organization is comprised of its provincial sports bodies which include British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and the collective of Eastern Canadian Provinces. Through their provincial recognized body, clubs and individual members submit their application for participation.

Forming the foundation of WushuCanada are the volunteers and accredited officials who dedicate their time and efforts to the passion for the martial arts. As such, WushuCanada provides the opportunities and resources to foster the development of coaches and officials involved. Excellence in safety, quality and international standards dictate the framework in which we all strive for.
